Kerry Baldry is a fine artist working in a range of media including film and video, painting and sculpture. She studied B. A. Hons Fine Art at Middlesex University and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Film and Video from Central St. Martins College of Art and Design. She currently works in her studio at Cow Lane Studios, Manchester.

Many of her ideas have leant themselves towards the medium of film and video. Films have been shot on 16mm with a Bolex and have used facilities such as superimposition and stop frame. Body parts are isolated and used to explore aspects of the human condition, acting as visual metaphors - anomie, the human condition and alienation are recurrent themes in her work.

Works have been screened at various international film festivals and galleries, including BBC2’ s The Late Show, screenings at the I.C.A., The Museum of Modern Art, Melbourne and The Rotterdam Film Festival. Her film ‘Body' was recently shown continuously on large outdoor screens in 11 cities in Russia, part of OUTVIDEO video arts festival. She recently curated a One Minute Programme of artist's video which was screened at The Contract Theatre, Manchester, Gallerie Nod - Prague and The Cogcollective - Candid Arts London.
